RSQUARE Vietnam has started offering interior design services. Like in Korea, these services cover all types of commercial facilities, including offices, hotels, commercial spaces, residences, factories, and warehouses. We spoke with Senior Manager Youngsoo Chung, who is active in Vietnam.
Q. Q. Do you only handle office interiors?
Youngsoo Chung (Chung): We can handle all interior projects except for new building constructions. Besides offices, we can manage interior design, consulting, and execution for hotels, retail spaces, residences, factories, warehouses, and other types of commercial facilities.
Q. Do you have a team that directly manages and supervises projects on-site in Vietnam?
Chung: We have two employees from our headquarters dispatched to Vietnam. They will be involved in all commercial real estate interior projects handled by RSquare Vietnam. We are also actively hiring design and construction staff. By the first half of this year, we plan to fully establish our interior business division (design/construction/project management).
Q. What are the strengths of RSquare Vietnam compared to local competitors?
Chung: One major strength is the stable operation supported by the interior design business division of RSquare Design in Korea, compared to independent local companies in Vietnam. We have experienced Korean staff residing locally with rich project experience. They possess strong consulting skills to meet the needs of our clients.
Additionally, since we can start interior work as soon as the real estate contract is signed, we can proceed more efficiently than other companies. We maintain smooth cooperation with building management, reducing unnecessary delays compared to competitors. We also have strengths in post-construction maintenance and management.
Q. Does RSQUARE Vietnam Design have its own brand?
Chung: We do not have a separate brand yet. We conduct client consultations under the RSquare Vietnam Interior Business Division. Recently, we were selected as the preferred negotiation partner for an office interior project for a major domestic IT company. Based on our expertise from Korea, we aim to provide stable services and achieve rapid growth simultaneously.
