R: Thank you for using Rsquare Vietnam. Can you tell us more about YLAB Vina?
YLAB Vina: YLAB Vina is the Vietnamese branch of the webtoon studio YLAB. We are one of the top webtoon production companies in Korea, creating and distributing a wide range of webtoons. Our goal in Vietnam is to translate successful Korean webtoons into Vietnamese, adapt them to fit local culture, and discover and nurture local Vietnamese creators to produce original webtoon content for the market.
R: What kind of commercial property did you find through Rsquare, and how big is it?
YLAB Vina: We secured a local office with a size of 214sqm
R: How was your journey with Rsquare?
YLAB Vina: It was our first time signing a lease and handling interior design in Vietnam. We had so much to learn. Team leader Kim Hyun-Jung from Rsquare Vietnam guided us through the real estate contract, and team leader Oh Jae-Kwang helped us with the interior design. Their detailed explanations, experience, and expertise made it easy for us to complete the office.
R: Do you have any memorable moments from the process?
YLAB Vina: Our office flooring project coincided with Vietnam’s rainy season, and it rained much more than usual that year due to unusual weather patterns. The floor wasn’t drying properly, which delayed the rest of the work and threatened to push back our opening. But Rsquare Vietnam found alternative solutions that fit our schedule and helped us meet the deadline without any issues.
R: Would you recommend Rsquare to other companies looking for commercial real estate?

R: What are your goals for your new space?
YLAB Vina: This office is the starting point for us. We plan to hire and train talented individuals here and build the foundation to become the top webtoon studio in Vietnam.
