Q. Please introduce yourself.

Huy: I lead the sales team at R Square Vietnam. Our team consists of five members, and I've been working at R Square for nearly five years.

Q. We heard you've recently achieved outstanding results by closing contracts with several global companies. Is there a project that stands out in your memory?

Huy: The contract with Gameloft. For about two years, I visited sites countless times until we found a building that satisfied the client. The negotiation process was challenging, coordinating contract terms and pricing conditions. But when the client finally made a satisfactory choice, the sense of fulfillment was indescribable.

Q: What is your sales philosophy that helped you endure that long process?

Huy: Even when customers say what they "want," I believe the essence of sales is understanding what they "truly need." I always try to be an advisor and partner who helps customers make the right choices.

Q. What attitude is essential to becoming an excellent sales professional?

Huy: Honesty. I believe that maintaining honesty in customer relationships is the starting point of trust. Sales is the engine of business growth. As long as I'm in this role, giving up is not an option. Trust with customers isn't built through a single transaction, so I always approach my work with sincerity and authenticity.

Q. We're also curious about how you lead your team as a leader.

Huy: I think it's important to first be a "good leader." I need to clearly understand my own work and perform it well before I can teach and help my team members grow. I believe a leader is a "mirror" for the team. The attitude and behavior I demonstrate becomes the standard for team members.

Q. Is there a unique organizational culture at RSQUARE Vietnam?

Huy: Our team values "communication" very highly. We share problems and experiences that arise during deals and identify each other's strengths. Each employee has a different style. Some are "hunter types" who actively seek out customers, while others are "relationship types" who carefully manage connections. As a leader, I identify each team member's disposition and help them grow on their own through appropriate coaching and feedback.

Rather than pressuring or directing, I build a healthy organizational culture through repeated feedback and improvement. I believe this culture ultimately has a positive impact on trust with customers as well.

Q. When do you feel most rewarded in your sales work?

Huy: When customers are satisfied. The depth of information each customer wants varies, but delivering accurate information is most important. Wrong information leads to lost trust, but accurate and sincere communication creates lasting relationships.

Q. Why did you choose sales as your profession?

Huy: Sales is "learning through people." Meeting customers from various industries, I gain knowledge in areas that were previously unrelated to me – finance, technology, manufacturing, and more. When I view customers not simply as "paying entities" but as "learning partners," I also grow through conversations. This broadens my perspective and enhances my professional capabilities.

Q. What does working at RSQUARE mean to you?

Huy: To me, RSQUARE means "challenge." When I joined, I couldn't speak English at all. Back then, there were only seven employees, but now we've grown much larger. My first deal was for a 50㎡ space. I had to find customers myself and handle everything alone. The joy I felt when that first contract was signed is still vivid. Since then, I've taken on bigger clients and larger projects, and I've been able to grow alongside them.

Q. Are there any clients or projects you'd like to take on?

Huy: I'd like to work with clients in finance and technology. These clients don't just look for office space – they consider various factors like market conditions, employees, and cost reduction. My goal is to develop consulting capabilities that allow me to become their strategic partner.

Q. If you could envision the future of the RSQUARE Vietnam sales team?

Huy: Right now, all team members are excellent. Each one fulfills their role faithfully, and I trust them completely. I'm confident we'll continue to trust each other and develop together.
